Celebrating the end of the MET journey -
As I complete ETEC 590, my MET journey is nearing completion. One more course in the coming term (ETEC 520) will be incorporated into this e-portfolio.
This MET project has been a renovation of major proportions - everything from frameworks to finishes have been renewed, refreshed or replaced. The ultimate test of this finished work will be in the 'inspired spaces' it will continue to create and my ongoing learning in an ever-changing, ever-renovated educational landscape.
This image emphasizes how inspiring learning spaces will include networks that are wired into my foundation. Affinity spaces (Gee, 2009) will network my learning to a global community focused on improving, renewing and adapting teaching and learning within technology supported environments.

Looking forward to new projects -
Starting new projects is always exciting. Since beginning the MET program, I have explored ways that I can continue my educational technology learning, in supportive, collaborative networks. I have found many such places, both physically within my current work location, and digitally within the networked educational technology world. New projects include participating in the Educational Computing Organization of Ontario's annual conference, moderating sessions for the Global Education Conference, participating in my first ever MOOC and exploring the potential of hosting an Ed Camp.
ECOOI recently presented at the annual conference for the Educational Computing Organization of Ontario. The focus for the presentation was Concept Mapping. View a SlideRocket presentation HERE.

Global Ed ConferenceI volunteered to moderate five sessions throughout the week of the Global Education Conference. As a result, I participated in many more that focused on topics of interest. View ARCHIVED CONFERENCE SESSIONS HERE.

MOOCMy first experience with open, online course delivery has been George Siemens and Stephen Downes presentation on the Current and Future State of Higher Education. Participation is FREE and access is OPEN. View more MOOC HERE.
